Required Skills and Experience

• 4 to 5 years of programming or systems analysis experience.
• 2 or more years of relevant architecture experience.
• Advanced to expert level knowledge and understanding of architecture, applications systems design, and integration.
• Proficiency with Visual Basic, C#, .NET. and VBScript.
• Proficiency coding ASP.NET Web applications and  / VBScript web pages.
• Proficiency coding VB.NET Windows based applications.
• Proficiency developing XML Web Services and Server Components with VB.NET.
• Proficiency in Querying MS-SQL using T-SQL.
• Knowledge of operating system and telecommunications concepts.
• Knowledge of computer operations procedures and systems.
• Knowledge of SQL Server database environments.
• Ability to prioritize workload.
• Ability to document processes and cross-train programming staff.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience supporting systems within a correctional environment.
• Knowledge of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) Compliance within a correctional environment.
• Knowledge of Criminal Justice Information Service (CJIS) data compliance within a correctional environment.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree, from an accredited college/university, in Computer Science, Information Systems, other related field, or 4 years of equivalent work experience.
