Required Skills and Experience

• 3 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant on Salesforce projects.
• 2+ years of experience working with public-sector clients or programs (state, local, or federal).
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or Public Sector Solutions.
• Strong skills in process modeling, user story creation, and requirements documentation.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with Configuration-based requirements

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience with data migration, integration design, and API-based systems.
• Understanding of FedRAMP, NIST, CJIS, or StateRAMP compliance frameworks.
• Experience with test automation tools for Salesforce. (e.g., Provar, Selenium, Copado).

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process mapping sessions across multiple agencies or departments.
• Elicit, document, and validate functional and non-functional requirements for Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS), Experience Cloud portals, and case management systems.
• Translate complex public-sector policies and procedures into configurable Salesforce features and workflows.
• Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and business process documentation in tools such as Jira or Confluence.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.

Certification

• Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Business Analyst Certification. (preferred)
• Salesforce Consultant Certification. (Service Cloud or Public Sector Solutions preferred).
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Agile BA certification. (preferred)
• ISTQB or Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) certification. (preferred)
