Traffic Congestion / Queue Detection System

IntelliConnect detects and alerts congestion/queues based on configurable speed and vehicle count thresholds so roadway supervisors are notified of unusually slow traffic. Additionally, approaching drivers can be notified of slow traffic ahead, preparing them to decelerate and reducing the likelihood of secondary crashes. IntelliConnect also connects with existing roadside infrastructure to detect speed levels and maximize investments.

Pedestrian & Cyclist Detection System

IntelliConnect detects pedestrians and cyclists using LiDAR or cameras and sends alerts to motorists, cyclists, pedestrians, and TMC operators. By using existing and new infrastructure, it provides enhanced traffic safety and mobility for all.

Work Zone Warning System

IntelliConnect notifies and guides drivers through active construction zones, prompting them to slow down and making the roadway safer for construction workers. Wrong-Way Driving Detection System

IntelliConnect immediately and accurately detects when an OBU-equipped vehicle is moving against the flow of traffic and sends instant alerts to transportation management centers, emergency response personnel, and drivers on the road, with split-second processing that reduces crashes and saves lives. In addition to existing roadside equipment, IntelliConnect also detects wrong-way drivers using LiDAR.

Roadside Unit Health Monitoring

The IntelliConnect Roadside Infrastructure Management module enables transportation agencies to continuously monitor real-time health and security certificate status of all roadside units (RSUs).
